2. Chairman of Department of Agronomy of National Chung Hsing University. (2002-2004),
3. Dean of General Affairs of National Chung Hsing University. (2004-2007)
4. He devoted more than 12 years in teaching, training, research, and extension in organic agriculture.
He is the first person practiced organic agriculture in university farm and organic campus in Taiwan.
5. Dr. Chen organized the 2006 East Asian Forum of Organic Agriculture and been elected as the convener.
And he organized the Association of Taiwan Organic Agriculture Promotion (ATOAP) in 2008.
